the world is tiny

And so is this slice of yuppieville. The guy guesting on the
annoying everpresent Evanescence single is from here.
His little band 12 stones is attempting ride Evanescence to
fame. How did I find this out? A flyer on the door of
a coffeehouse regarding a concert.

Pardon me while I die laughing. Rural Mandeville? There
are no cows here, unless you count the soccer moms.
Call it a bedroom community with a lot of bored teenagers.

That's, um, Paul McCoy? By chance I caught the vid last night and tried to figure out what exactly he contributes to it that the guy with the scouring-pad beard couldn't have done. Drew a blank, I did.

Exactly. They include "feat. paul mccoy of 12 stones" in the video title, which is the only reason I knew the name in the first place.

Ok, the version over here is just billed as "Evanescence featuring Paul McCoy". No mention is made of his, er, stones.

Also, I'm really trying not to watch MTV lately because of the fact that it irritates me. However, it irritates me less than a lot of the other stuff that's available to me, so.

The irritations of tv are pretty much how I end up flipping between the 4 mtv-like channels I have (damnit. I want vh1 classic.) conveniently next to each other in the channel-lineup on satellite. I figure I may as well watch now, cause I tend to have a hard time justifying cable when I live by myself and have something resembling a life. Paying 50$/mo for mtv,m2,vh1,muchmusic,vh1classic + the food channel, mostly, is overkill.

From my datestamp's point of view, you look like an insomniac as well. Movable type needs post-timezone stamps or something.
