Things are insane. I'm working on staying above water.
I'm really liking the delicious auto-posting thingy. I like
doing the link-posts like I used to without much effort on
my part, other than fixing the 'excerpt' which gets its way
into the rss feed. I have been trying to remember to tag
music I want to look into later, for those of you who used
to follow /music and want some music advice out of me.
I've gone pretty mainstream in comparision to back then.
Mini-rant: What is up with the women wearing suits and
flip-flops? Not even nice flip-flops, crappy four dollar from
Old Navy ones.

But a pink pants day, today. Something possessed me to
buy them when failing completely to find a decent skirt
for summer. Less boring than khakis. Some fragments:
A few weeks ago, my grandfather shuffled my car out of
the queue of his driveway when I was over there, so I
could leave. My stereo was blasting Stone Temple Pilots'
Purple, and he told me it was good music when I apologized
for the noise. The only music I have in common with him
really is Johnny Cash, generally.
Another weekend recently I spent about an hour sitting on
the side of the Causeway, much of it outside of my car
staring at the water due to a bridge-closing wreck 1/4 mile
ahead of where I was. Time required for Louisiana people
to give up on moving soon and start fishing: 20 minutes.

I still can't manage a double pirouette, but I can land my
singles cold, at least. I went to a much harder ballet class
this morning, and survived pretty well, the girl who taught
was not the typical one for this class, but she complimented
me on how well I had done for not having been to that class
ever. So yay. I like the harder stuff, it's more dance, and
this class has a bunch of the good people to follow. It's also
about a million times easier to get there on Saturdays.
I am burnt the fuck out, otherwise.
