news for thought

The transvestites first appeared in March when they raided
Magazine Street like a marauding army of kleptomaniacal
showgirls, said Davis, using clockwork precision and brute
force to satisfy high-end boutique needs.

noriko

Aunt Noriko, in her and my uncle's freshly restored house.

Their house had five or six feet of water - it was storm
surge so the waterlines are not as pronounced as elsewhere.
They had flood elevations on their side, and insurance money
that actually came. The house is beautiful now.

My mawmaw, you see, she's as cajun as the sky is blue. This
comes with an ability to find excellent seafood for cheap.
That lovely and his friends pictured there cost $1.50 per pound,
bought a few hours after they were caught.

Boiled a few pounds tonight and froze the rest, and I'm getting
some for my freezer too. Mom came back from da bayou with about
30 pounds.

And people wonder why we live here?
