rampant consumerism

plasma tv = used motorcycle

That is the basic problem with my attempts to buy a nice
hdtv setup. Or a Mac mini to replace my 8 year old kitchen
laptop, which at this point can't even run Firefox since the
C library on the Linux install is so old. I'll probably buy
the mini before the tv, but the point is still there.

A friend asked over here, what do you really want?
Short answer: "love, a Ferrari, and cool shoes."

This year, the tax man does not require my soul, just the
first estimated payment, which alone is worth celebrating.

music: The Soft Boys: Song #4
(Ray, the song is all your fault.)

Excellent. I love infesting people with my ear worms.

Both things are really tempting.

I'd go for the motorcycle, because I already have a 22" LCD widescreen Viewsonic panel.

If I can get past June's estimated taxes, I'm thinking definitely about the bike...

TV can wait until football season.

That's right, it's only a TV. If it's hooked up to a computer, now that's another matter.

But between the TV and the bike, I would go for the bike. I haven't been able to do so myself though.
